Care We Provide
GYNECOLOGY
The annual preventive examination is covered by health insurance but includes only a cervical smear (Pap test).
Ultrasound examination during the preventive check-up is not covered by insurance. If you would like to get it, we will happily perform it for an extra charge.
Without purchasing a package we can offer the following procedures:
taking medical history, performing vaginal examination, doing a Pap test, and optionally adding an ultrasound for a fee.
What you pay without a package:
disposable speculum,
pelvic ultrasound if you request it,
and the fee for sending results.
Annual Preventive Check-up
Every year, if possible, you should come for a cytology test (Pap test) so that we can detect any potential risk of cervical cancer in time. Although pelvic ultrasound is useful and recommended, insurance companies do not cover it as part of preventive examinations. If you wish, we will gladly perform it for an additional fee. If not, that is completely fine and the examination will be carried out in the standard way.
Gynecological Issues
We deal with all gynecological problems. Clients who require care at a specialized facility according to their diagnosis will be referred further (e.g., chronic pelvic pain before or after childbirth, endometriosis, sexual difficulties, incontinence, etc.).
Young Women’s Care
We accept young patients from the age of 15. The examination depends on whether they have already had sexual experience or not. Since we know that for many of them a visit to a gynecologist may be their very first experience, they can choose the extent to which they wish to undergo the examination.
Menopause
This stage of life does not have to be an ending, but rather the beginning of a new – and we believe exciting – chapter. We will help you go through menopause safely and without stress. We ensure that you receive comprehensive care, all necessary examinations, and screenings.
PREGNANCY CARE
Health insurance covers three ultrasound examinations during pregnancy:
confirmation of pregnancy and number of fetuses,
screening at the 20th week,
growth ultrasound at the 30th week.
If you want to be monitored under insurance, we will be happy to support you. However, many useful examinations are not covered by insurance, so we offer packages that make care more comprehensive and safer.
Consultations in English are not charged separately.
Pre-conception Care
This care usually includes a complete medical history assessment, counseling, and treatment if necessary. In cases of recurrent miscarriages or primary or secondary infertility, we refer you for genetic consultation and examinations. Once you become pregnant and are referred back to us, we continue your care.
Contraceptive Counseling
We offer contraceptive counseling and help you choose a method that corresponds to your needs and expected benefits. We also recommend thrombosis risk testing before starting hormonal contraception.
Prenatal Care
Until the 28th week, visits usually take place every 4–5 weeks, then every two weeks until the 36th week, when we refer you to the maternity hospital. At each visit, you will receive sufficient information to ensure your pregnancy journey is safe and that you feel confident.
Birth preparation and postnatal care
If you are considered a low-risk pregnancy, the maternity hospital may refer you back to us after check-ups until your due date. In such a case, CTG (baby monitoring) is performed at our clinic from the 38th week.
